During the webinar, the EHSP experts provided an overview of the capabilities of CFD for supporting hydrogen safety analysis, providing an overview of the role and the use of CFD for hydrogen safety analysis in different hydrogen energy applications, alongside the lessons learned and best practices in the use of CFD for hydrogen safety aspects.

With the support of the European Hydrogen Safety Panel (EHSP), the Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking organised the Safety Planning and Management in EU Hydrogen and fuel cell projects webinar to provide guidance on safety planning, monitoring, and reporting for hydrogen and fuel cell projects in Europe.

The second edition of the European Hydrogen Week took place from 29 November to 3 December 2021. The Hydrogen Week featured among others the European Hydrogen Forum, the FCH JU Programme Review Days and the FCH JU Awards.

On 18 November 2021 from 9:00 to 13:00 (CET) an online workshop on “Safe Storage of Compressed Gas Hydrogen in road transport applications and related infrastructure” was organized by the FCH 2 JU with the support of the European Safety Panel (EHSP).

The ninth edition of the biennial International Conference on Hydrogen Safety (ICHS2021) took place in Edinburgh on 21st to 23rd September 2021. Organised by the Scottish Government and HySafe, the event focused on the overarching theme of ‘Safe Hydrogen for Net Zero’. The conference presented the state-of-the-art, new developments, regulatory and normative aspects and practical implications with regard to hydrogen safety.
