DOLPHIN focused on developing innovative fuel cell manufacturing processes and architectures to enhance PEMFC stack performance in terms of weight, volume, power density, durability, and operating temperatures.

The HYDROSOL-beyond project is an innovative initiative that builds upon previous HYDROSOL projects to produce renewable hydrogen from water using solar energy and redox reactions in advanced reactors.

The IMMORTAL project pioneered the development of high-performance, long-lasting membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) for heavy-duty trucks, with ambitious targets of achieving a 30,000-hour operational lifespan and a power output of 1.2 W/cm² at 0.675 V.

JIVE 2 has successfully deployed a fleet of 122 fuel cell buses across six countries, with an additional 37 expected in 2024 (2 in Barcelona, 1 in Tartu, and 34 in Brighton).

The ZEFER project successfully launched a fleet of 60 vehicles across Paris, London, and Copenhagen, incorporating taxi services and a police fleet in London.

The flagship Hydrogen Mobility Europe (H2ME) project has supported 49 hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS) and >1,400 Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs), up to a third of all HRS & FCEVs deployed in Europe to date.

FRHYGE is a 43 M€ project which will demonstrate the feasibility of a smart and energy-efficient operation of a hydrogen underground storage facility in salt caverns in Manosque, France.

The FCH2RAIL demonstrator train has successfully completed testing on 6 commercial lines in Spain and Portugal.

In June 2024, the HyUSPRe project consortium published its final deliverable: a roadmap for successful deployment of underground hydrogen storage in porous reservoirs in Europe.
